This high-end three-unit project in Boston’s Bay Village neighborhood involved full electrical installation for modern townhomes spanning three stories plus rooftop decks. Each all-electric unit was served by a dedicated 200-amp underground service, coordinated with Eversource in the middle of a busy city street. ACE Services managed every aspect of this challenging installation, from the utility trenching to final trim-out, while maintaining strict safety and timeline requirements in a dense urban environment.
Inside, all units featured open floor plans with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, complete with custom lighting throughout. We installed a variety of dimmable fixtures, recessed LEDs, and designer lighting elements tailored to each living space. A spacious private patio in the rear of the property was also fully wired for outdoor enjoyment, including accent and step lighting. The rooftop levels were prepped for future entertainment setups with dedicated weather-rated outlets and lighting.
Coordination was key on this tightly scheduled build. Our team worked closely with other trades to stay on pace while preserving the clean, modern aesthetic envisioned by the architect. No backup power or solar systems were included, but the electrical infrastructure was designed with efficiency and expansion in mind.
